Hospital Information
The new hospital was designed by leading national and international architects and builders with specific input from SRMC employees and physicians.
A unique patient and family beeper system provides outpatients and their families the confidence to move about the hospital. Patients and/or family members will be beeped when the department is ready to receive them or in the case of surgery, when the surgeon wishes to update family members after the procedure.
Eight Operating Rooms are equipped with the latest technology available in the industry. Special booms that house a video tower, high definition TVs, and other surgical equipment, provide surgeons the tools they need at their fingertips.
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit is centrally located to recovery patients from surgery, cardiac catheterization, endoscopy and other procedures, and is staffed by highly experienced anesthesists and nursing staff.
The Intensive Care Unit has been expanded from 18 to 28 beds.
A new state-of-the-art Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory provides the very latest technology for heart patients.
Serving the mental health needs of the older patient in a compassionate setting, Behavioral Health Services has expanded the number of gero-psychiatric beds from 8 to 14. |
