Pay your bill online 

 

For insured patients

As is the case with visits to your physician's office, we request a payment at the time of service. If you have insurance or other coverage, a SRMC Insurance Verification Representative will verify your insurance coverage and estimate what your financial obligation may be. Since most insurance companies rarely provide full coverage for a hospital service and require policyholders to pay a deductible and/or co-pay, we will estimate and request your initial payment for services at the time of your admission. After your insurance company pays us, we will send you information about any additional amount, if any, you may owe. While your health insurance coverage is a contract between you and your insurance company, we will work with you in an effort to collect the full amount of benefits from your insurance company.

For uninsured patients

If you are uninsured, our financial counselors will evaluate whether you qualify for Local and State programs, including County Assistance, Medicaid, or our Charity Policy. Under our Charity Policy, persons who have limited means of payment and who do not exceed 200% of the Federal Poverty Level generally qualify. Sliding scale payments and time payments may be made for patients who do not exceed 400% of the Federal Poverty guidelines. Other discounts for patients without insurance are available.

In order to qualify for this free care, you must complete a Financial Assistance Application and provide some documents to support your income. For patients who do not meet the charity criteria and will be expected to pay for services out of pocket, we offer a discount, much like the managed care discounts for insured patients.

We accept major credit cards, checks, money orders and cash.
