When you’re having heart trouble, every second counts. Our team responds to emergency cardiac procedures 7 days per week, 24 hours per day.

SRMC has a comprehensive line of cardiac services. The Cardiac Cath Lab provides both diagnostic and interventional services. Diagnostic procedures include pacemaker placement and peripheral vascular studies.

The Cardiovascular lab provides an array of non invasive procedures for diagnosis of cardiac and vascular problems. These services include:

• Carotid Studies
• Echocardiography (including stress echocardiography testing and transesophogeal echocardiogram)
• EKGs
• Holter Monitor (24 hour)
• Stress Test
• Tilt Testing
• Vascular Procedures

The Cardiac Rehab program located in Colonial Heights assists patients with heart disease in maintaining heart health exercise, nutritional teaching, and other teaching regarding life style and the changes needed to maintain a healthy heart.  Patients can receive insurance coverage for cardiac rehab.
