Preparing for a baby?  Our homelike birthing center offers everything you need.  A lullaby playing when your new baby arrives, a homelike suite for your newborn's arrival and advanced technology throughout, await you and your baby at the Birth Place at Southside Regional Medical Center.

The Birth Place at SRMC offers beautifully appointed labor and delivery suites, an expanded neonatal intensive care unit and HUGS, an advanced infant security system. The center boasts board-certified obstetricians, neonatologists and pediatricians as well as experienced and compassionate labor and delivery, postpartum, and NICU nurses.  There's a full array of birthing classes including Labor and Delivery and Baby Care Basics, Lamaze Prepared Childbirth, Breastfeeding, Infant CPR and Safety and even a sibling preparation class to help little ones get ready for a newborn at home.
